Meet Susanne Naevermo-Sand – Head of Sustainability and Strategy, CELSA Nordic.

Susanne Naevermo-Sand joined Celsa Nordic in 2018 and has led Celsa’s Nordic’s efforts on delivering on its sustainability strategy and in the company’s ambition to take a leading position as a sustainable company, driving the industry and the circular economy business model forward. An integral part of this has been to build an internal sustainability culture, engaging stakeholders, building partnerships to promote better framework conditions for green steel, R&D and political spheres, and developing the Celsa Nordic brand to become a well-known marker of sustainable steel in the Nordics.

Ms Naevermo-Sand is a qualified Mining Engineer, complemented with Msc in Global Project Management and Strategic Communication. She has held several management positions in the Swedish and Norwegian mining industry before she joined Celsa Nordic.
