The 2nd Energy Transition for Metals and Mining Industry conference will highlight key solutions in the energy transition from renewable power generation projects to green hydrogen solutions.
This event will also address the opportunities provided by policies for mining companies to become lower carbon emitters through the adoption of clean energy technology.
To ensure the firm and sustainable implementation and scalability of green mining practices at an enterprise level, we are launching our North America edition of an event on Energy Transition and Emission Reduction. This edition will bring together decision-makers from the metals and mining industries for a two-day business networking event.
Mining is an energy-intensive industry and a major contributor to global emissions. With the increase in demand for metals and minerals and the reduction in ore quality, there is a need for a more efficient extraction of minerals and precious metals. In addition, there is an ongoing effort to reduce the environmental impact of mining operations. This can be achieved by reducing the carbon footprint of mining operations through the use of renewable energy sources (e.g., solar, wind, and hydro) electrification of the fleet and implementation of hydrogen power in order to become a fully electric mine.
Meet with industry leaders for a reality check via in-depth discussions and get insights on a journey to an all-electric mine.
